Diary of an aid mission to Ukraine - Part 6

In this video Tim talks about the most high risk portion of the aid mission. Delivering first aid training inside a war zone. Dealing with anxiety and keeping the team focused.

Tim and the team were able to collaborate with the Kyiv NGO and the volunteer military unit in Poltava to deliver critical trauma training.

Due to the level of casualties and the rate of conscription some volunteers are receiving as little as four weeks training before going to the front line. This is not negligence but necessity.

Using our Intelligence not information model we were able to identify critical trauma care as an area where our small team could make a significant difference.

The team drove from Scotland to Poltava which is 4 hours east of Kyiv in Ukraine. The risk has increased significantly over the past few weeks with Russian drone and missile attacks becoming more and more frequent across the country.
